After their succesfull tour in The Netherlands and Belgium in 2012-2013, Enrico Pieranunzi & Jasper Somsen will continue their collaboration! Besides the Enrico Pieranunzi’s New European Trio (feat. drummer Pieter Bast), the Italian master pianist and the Dutch double bassist will be available for concerts and masterclasses as well as a duo.

JASPER SOMSEN GROUP – NEW ALBUM “Sardegna”
In January 2013 the second album “Sardegna” by the Jasper Somsen Group was released, via Challenge Records. Like their first album “Dreams, Thoughts & Poetry” (The Music of Enrico Pieranunzi), “Sardegna” was acclaimed highly in the international media. Sardinian trumpet player Paolo Fresu wrote in the liner notes a.o.:
“Another island yet to be discovered… An island created by passion, imagination and poetry. Akin to other migrants to Sardinia, exploring our island, so also does Jasper by releasing this album: being able to create new memories and to whisper new destinations in our ears.”
The Jasper Somsen Group is available for concerts in all countries in 2013-2014.
